Manignakouh 18 mai à 21:02 Eductour Nosy Faly Les 13, 14, 15 avril, l’ORTDS a eu l’honneur de participer à un éductour organisé par Harena Discovery à Nosy Faly. Aux côtés de l’ORTDS, quelques tour-opérateurs ont également pris part à cette initiative,notamment Madaaiza et EVASION SANS FRONTIERE. Cet éductour avait pour objectif de faire découvrir et d’évaluer les circuits touristiques de Nosy Faly. Située au Nord-Ouest de Madagascar, dans la commune rurale d’Ambanja, Nosy Faly est une île sacrée accessible après environ une heure de route depuis le croisement d’Ambaliha sur la RN6. Le mois d’avril représente une période particulièrement importante pour la population locale, car il marque l’arrivée du "Mahaloky", une espèce de poisson très attendue. Cette période est particulièrement privilégiée pour les habitants, dont la principale activité est la pêche. Nosy Faly possède de richesses naturelles, des endroits exceptionnels et d’histoires uniques qui méritent d’être valorisées et découvertes par les visiteurs nationaux et internationaux, dans le respect des traditions. Nosy Faly Familiarization Tour On April 13, 14, and 15, ORTDS had the honor of participating in a familiarization tour organized by Harena Discovery in Nosy Faly. Alongside ORTDS, several tour operators also took part in this initiative, notably Mada Aiza and Evasion Sans Frontière. The purpose of this familiarization tour was to explore and evaluate the tourist circuits of Nosy Faly. Located in the northwest of Madagascar, in the rural commune of Ambanja, Nosy Faly is a sacred island accessible after about an hour’s drive from the Ambaliha intersection on National Road 6. April is a particularly important time for the local population, as it marks the arrival of the “Mahaloky,” a highly anticipated species of fish. This period is especially significant for the residents, whose main livelihood is fishing. What deeply characterizes Nosy Faly is its attachment to traditions. Its name, derived from Nosy Fady, literally means “sacred island,” referring to the many cultural taboos (fady) observed there. The island is governed by the traditional Sakalava Bemazava authorities, under the leadership of Mpanjaka Tsiaraso IV. Despite the modern context, the inhabitants continue to preserve and follow ancestral customs. Nosy Faly boasts natural riches, exceptional sites, and unique stories that deserve to be showcased and discovered by domestic and international visitors, while respecting local traditions.
